The year is 1969. Ramsey is an aspiring comic book artist who is trying to find inspiration for his femme fatale. When he meets wild dancer, Regina, at a street fair he invites her into the woods for a character photoshoot where she begins to break on through to the other side. Violanté The Undead

Hero Tomorrow Comics is at L-11 in Small Press at San Diego Comic Con this weekend.

We've announced a new villain - Violante The Undead - whose comic book debut wlll take place in the next issue of Punchline and the Vaude-Villains.  Violante's alter ego had a cameo back in Tap Dance Killer #4!

Read the cameo

To celebrate this debut I personally illustrated a 13X19 inch print that is being sold exclusively during Comic Con. If you can't make it to the show a limited number are available on our website for the next four days.

Violanté Print

Violanté Fabra, the mystic healer was shot and left for dead by the Vaude-Villains' creepy scientist, Fletcher.

Through a combination of her own healing energy and Fletcher's cryptic formulas, Violanté is being brought back to supernatural life in the next issue ofPunchline and the Vaude-Villains.

Violanté "the Undead" is a terrifying villain seeking revenge for her murder, and will stop at nothing to destroy Fletcher and all he holds  dear.

"I  was inspired to create Violanté when our family visited San Miguel de  Allende, Mexico several years ago. The history, beauty, and authenticity  were overwhelming. I adored the Day of the Dead imagery, but felt I had to be careful to not copy what others had done. Violanté's  dress design is based on a dried rose. She is from a small indigenous  village in Mexico. She floats in the wind, has immense strength, and can  mystically attack the heart." Ted Sikora

BLOOM #4 has been shipping this week, and the worldwide release is today!
over 2 years ago – Fri, Dec 10, 2021 at 05:15:43 PM

Over two-thirds of Bloom 1-4 have shipped! Digital files have also been sent. The only orders not yet shipped are those with foil covers. Apologies for the delay on that. They should arrive to me on Monday. There are also about 40 people who haven't yet sent in their survey, so be sure to do that if you haven't.

I'm off to Rubber City Comics for a 11-2:30 signing today, and then this weekend at Steel City Con.

Thank you so much for making this crazy trip possible, and I can not WAIT for your thoughts on this!

Bloom #4 Arrives / CGCs Added / Last Call to Update BackerKit Surveys
over 2 years ago – Thu, Dec 02, 2021 at 06:45:17 PM

I'll be locking orders on Sunday, so if you want to make any changes to your rewards you can do that in backerkit.

FOIL TEST FOOTAGE:

The foil cover versions are expected early next week. Here's footage of a prototype.

CGCs Available Now in Backerkit.

Getting comics graded has been taking a looong time which is why CGCs weren't included in the last campaigns. I do, however have a small amount that were made for shows, and those have just been added into backerkit. These will go out with your Bloom #4 awards next week. If interested, just go into Backerkit with your Bloom 1-4 survey email. You'll find the CGCs in Add-ons. These are first come, first served, and many are the only single copy I currently have.

Let me know if you need the link again. {>_<}

 THANK YOU!

At the Printer, and look for Backerkit surveys any moment...

OFF TO THE PRINTER!

There was a bit of drama, I won't get into all the details, but the short of it is my printer for the last few years was suddenly booked until January with the combo of holiday/supply issues.  Because of our December 8th in-store date, I reached out to my previous printer and they were able to get us in; and it will be a thicker cover stock; AND because of all the variant covers --  it actually reduced the cost significantly to add an additional 4 pages! So when you're reading that two page recap at the front of theBloom #4 you can thank the holiday rush.

SURVEYS ANY MINUTE NOW...

Because this is the last issue of Bloom, you will be able to add-on nearly any of the covers from the previous campaigns. I held off doing that until now to make sure we had enough copies to get through the whole series.

THANK YOU!

This one is really special to me. You made it happen! Butch and I can not wait for your reaction!
